Awesome! It looks like perfect #unicycling weather.
The first proper snow is always a highlight of winter commutes.

I do think that people overestimate the risk I am taking when unicycling relatively slowly in the snow.
Normally in the winter I have a wide tyre with hundreds of studs and look more stable than most of the pedestrians when cycling over icy patches. Yet they often tell me to wear a helmet, while they slip around without one.
Given we are would be falling from roughly the same height (on a small uni) and they are more likely than me to fall, who really should be wearing the helmet? 🤷
Shortly after that a different woman walking towards me repremanded me for not wearing a helmet.
Though I noted that she was not wearing one either and actually my pace was not a lot faster than hers at that point. 🤷
As I was cycling in this morning there was a woman in front of me who slipped a little on some icy/wet leaves down a minor slope. She did not fall down and was not in any way hurt but I think it suprised her a little.
As I cycled past I said, "Forsiktig, det er glatt!" (Careful, it is slippery).
Mean … maybe… but I made myself smile. 😜
I didn't actually look back to see if she was amused or angry.
Sadly I had to use an inappropriate setup as I had some issues with the unicycle I planned to use.
This meant no studded, winter tyre. But since there was no real ice and just light snow cover, it was fine anyway.
Still, it is always a bit of a shame when you do not have your uncycle setup just right for the winter conditions. People might think I am some kind of newb! 😜
On my way
Yeah, pretty excited, not gonna lie.
