   When I search answears to the meaning of life I always get an unsatisfing result. I think its beacuse I'm not actually looking for a meaning but a reason to be ethical. Why be good?

     @mian from a psychological point of view, brains love getting praise from others for doing "good" things and brains get a high from e.g. donating money or volunteering time. brains are true bottoms.

     Yeah! But going down that path to why evoution favors bottom brains things and things feel kinda cynical again. Like we're not after "good" but pro-social behaviours. Racism is an example of how pro-social is not good.
