     The official stance in the EU technocracy is “we have more important things to do” even though the overwhelming majority wants to do away with the useless changes as proven by a consultation they ran for months across all countries.

     Making it a directive or a law would be one of the simplest things they ever do and they prefer Chat Control.

     when you're paid as handsomely as they are and you get all kinds of career opportunities with the biggest companies in the world after you conveniently vote for things in their favour, you'd be a fool to care, or maybe simply not a psychopath
