   In the army of the dog
   we don’t need no fucking ponies.
   No fucking whistles.
   
   In the army of the dog
   we lift a leg
   to salute the flagpole.
   
   In the army of the dog
   four legs
   still good.

   In the army of the dog
   when the tail wags
   it wags for thee.

   In the army of the dog
   old wags
   teach new pricks.

   In the army of the dog
   we sleep in mangers
   and rise with fleas.
