Some of those large ships make sense, while some doesn't.
And as we get to the humongous ships:
Me: “How can a civilisation build a 1,000+ km ship, and what for?”
LOL.
If it's a generational ship, sure thing. But if it's only for war, and they can't even destroy a star and a planet with one blow. I don't know; and has weakness like the Death Star; such a waste. Hahaha.

Another reference they didn't include: Earth's diameter at the equator is approximately 12,756 km.
Oh. The diameter of Mars at the equator is 6,794 km. It's even larger than Mars!
