   I was brought up in an atheist family, so the closest I’ve ever got to understanding what it must be like to lose your religion is when I found out, that scene in Goodfellas, where Henry says if you cut garlic thin enough it just dissolves in the hot oil? Scorsese made that up.

   The day I found out, I went out and bought a garlic press.

     I always just figured that was supposed to be how you got thin garlic sliced without a knife cos they were in prison.
