     Their own incompetence is the only reason there wasn’t a large scale war or ground invasion

     And then Mike #Pence gave a speech to the troops in like January 2021 saying that the administration started no new wars

     @ec670 Ha, a ground invasion of Iran would be an absolute disaster. The USA could have pulled something like that off in the 90's, but that was a long time ago. Today, they'd wipe the floor with us. It would be a suicide mission. Defection and mutiny would cripple what's left of the Military Industrial Complex.
