   @Grumblesock My plan remaina the same: sit mostly still, smoking and listening to podcasts etc quietly with food about 8' away and let them come to me. Move food gradually closer at each serving.

     Cool, she's slowly getting used to you, hopefully she'll be at Olivia levels of familiarity before long. Is it the light that disturbs her?
     
     My guy here is fine if it's low enough but beyond a certain brightness others aren't fazed in the slightest. 🤷🏻♂️

     @Grumblesock Yeah. Usual eat and retreat followed by a more cautious approach a bit later. Phone was still charging when I went out for a fag half hour ago. Heard a sudden rustle so put a tiny bit more food down and same larger one emerged a few minutes later. This time she came into the light and onto the patio about 3' from my foot and stood there, sniffing the air and checking me out for another minute before getting spooked and dashing.
