   Went to an amusement park with my bf and his sister. She paid for the tickets, he paid for the overpriced food, and I paid for the goddamn parking ticket we got :blobthumbsup:

     @Grumblesock $75 CAD :/ Could be worse, if I forgot to pay today the price starts going up tmr. I've been on a lucky streak with parking illegally and getting away with it lately so I shouldn't let myself mope. We didn't actually mean to park illegally this time, we've never paid in that lot before but I guess it's a paid lot now 🤷
     
     Super fun otherwise :D Last time we went half of the rides And none of the haunted houses were open because of COVID

     That's the nastiest part of the scam 'if you pay before x time we'll reduce the fine' nah, the fine was always the smaller figure they just double it as it's a naked cash grab. Any change you can appeal?
     
     Don't let it cast a shadow on an otherwise good time though. I miss one thing about all of the covid hysteria just being able to walk into things queue free (those that were still open, of course) or travel on empty trains and buses. Not worth all of the other damage done, tbf but that was a sweet little silver lining.
