     also when I was a kid it was weekly training around the riding carrousel so we did gallops and jumps, as an adult I guess it's more going on a leisurely walk and you don't wanna injure the horse by making it trip

     @lain maybe. girls project an emotional connection to their horse - the only being that truly understands them during puberty.

     no, we went along the river a bit. it was nice and relaxing, but also boring and took longer than walking, running or cycling.

     I did very little horse riding when I was young, and I was quite frustrated that the horse actually did mostly whatever the heck he wanted to do, like stop to eat some grass, or take a piss, while I'm just waiting and crying.
