     @Mummabear @NoBeret basically any oil you can convince to go through the injectors and the HPFP will run a diesel, you might need more or less timing and boost, but they’re much more flexible about fuel than a gasoline engine as a rule. Not as easy-going with odd fuels as a turbine, but better than a kick in the nuts.

     @Mummabear @Sophistifunk I'm going to take a wild guess that selling it by the quart in grocery stores has a better margin that selling it by the barrel in truck stops.

     @NoBeret @Mummabear digging it up is cheap, that’s why we do it. And there are few natural oils of the right viscosity at room temperature some place pleasant like here, let alone where you weirdos all insist on living where it snows. Even diesel will be too thick if you live anywhere with Canada-esque climate.
