     Les petits métiers disparus : aujourd'hui, le médusier.

     Son travail consistait à sortir une méduse de l'océan, la laisser sécher au soleil en l'aplanissant régulièrement, jusqu'à former un plateau extrêmement dur dont on faisait ensuite les boucliers les plus solides.

     Old forgotten trades: today, the jellyfisher.

     Their trade consisted in taking a jellyfish out of the ocean, letting it dry in the sun while flattening it regularly, until it formed an extremely hard plate, which was then used to make the strongest shields.
