   Hi @evan I'm trying to reply to your message https://www.threads.net/@evanprodromou/post/CynBEDDOgYu on Threads but it's totally non-functional for me for some reason so I'll reply here.

   Some aspects of the Silicon Valley culture that I have encountered are arrogance, insularity, hero worship, and a winner-takes-all mentality – which combine to form a miasma of toxic behaviour and decision making. Even Pre-X Twitter suffered from these issues.

     @torgo weird! It will be interesting to see if we develop a social software hole in Europe to be filled by coops, civic spaces, universities, family and neighborhood services.

     @evan BTW threads being non-functional for me looks like it has to do with their buggy IP geofencing to block access in the EU (which itself is part of the problem). See above.
