     the concept of 'semite' is somewhat of a loaded concept, semitic language families include Hebrew, Arabic and numerous other languages mostly in Africa, but the concept of 'semite' as a racial category and euphanism for Jews has it's origin in 19th century race science from what I've read https://religionnews.com/2021/04/26/antisemitism-anti-semitism/
