     @olmitch they have taken over delivery so much that now pizza franchises here just use uber to deliver, they don't have their own drivers (which was a scam screwing the drivers anyway)

     Remember when Uber Eats launched, and other companies were already doing restaurant deliveries, but their plan was to put a few meals in the trunk or something that were made by Uber in hopes someone would order it or something? It was really bad

     @olmitch I thought I was the only one to remember that the original iphone was supposed to only have wrapped webapps yeah. You think back to 2006 and web tech wasn't remotely ready for that so I don't see how it was ever going to happen.

     I know. I just like to recognize when big companies fail upwards.      @caekislove @olmitch you almost can do webapps for a lot of things now, biggest limitation is trying to imitate native UI components is still crap for some reason
