     @animeirl anything I really enjoy they will inevitably upload it somewhere else for like, patreon or something and I will do that. I am able to pay for things now comfortably for the first time in my life.

     I've seen that crap lately but I just click the x and let my ad blocker do its job. So far I haven't been harassed by their bullshit.

     for what it's worth, switching from abp to ublock origin for yt seems to have made the popups go away on my end.
     
     if that doesn't keep working i'll be done with yt, as well.
