     panama (mcdonalds since 1971) was invaded by the US in 1989
     serbia had its first mcdonalds in 1988 (first mcdonalds in a "communist" country) and was bombed by NATO (virtually all countries having mcdonalds) in 1999
     lebanon (mcdonalds since 1998) went to war with israel (mcdonalds since 1993) in 2006
     russia (mcdonalds since 1990) went to war with ukraine (mcdonalds since 1997) in 2022
