   So take the #TechSolutionists seriously - & literally, because a lot of them will literally try to do what they say they will.
   & especially, keep track of what they say they're trying to do. #TESCREAL is a real thing that increasingly really matters, bundling up & extending toxic #TechnoOptimism, #TechSolutionism, #Longtermism, #EffectiveAltruism & a lot of other dangerous #MagicalThinking.

     It's important to critique the Andreessens of the world, but it's also important to remember that in the short term, they _will_ win the fight if we let it be fought on their terms.
     & if they win, everyone - including them - loses. Which is REALLY important to remember when reading sermons about their hubris such as this from Andrew Leonard.
