   @exelia_antonov @bri_seven oh no im pretty sure the Wachowskis knew they were trans when they wrote and produced the matrix. They just werent out publicly.

     @bri_seven @siege well, I mean you write what you know, and that tends to be trans metaphor without realizing it if you're trans and don't realize it

     I know that once I finally came out as trans, I looked over all the things I've written over the years (particularly NaNoWriMo stories where I'm just freewriting without stopping to think) and it all REEKED of trans metaphors

     AND, since I write science fantasy, there's a lot of Matrix influence in turn, no less!
