     @quad oh no... The """modern layout""". I have one of those and it kinda sucks for certain games, especially shooters since it's much more convenient to just use original layout and play "left handed"

     Not too interested in the N64 personally though.
     
     If there's one console i hope gets FPGA'd eventually, it's the Nintendo DS. Emulating the DS just doesn't work that well due to the difference in hardware. But that's likely quite a ways out in the future if it ever happens, especially cost efficiently

     @hj i just play stuff like zelda and paper mario, so I'd probably be fine. I just want a modern N64 controloer i can actually obtain in Norway, unlike the retro enthusiast brands

     @hj And I know of zero decent 6 button controllers available in Norway, besides full-on fight sticks.
     
     Could probably find something on Aliexpress tho
