@monsieuricon He probably would if he was paid enough, just like how he's happy for the LF to accept payment from copyright infringing proprietary software companies in exchange for him getting paid for not enforcing his copyright.
I'm noticing a pattern where every single piece of software licensed under a version of the GNU Public License family of licenses is called "open source", despite how such licenses clearly mention that they're free software ones and don't have "open" in them;

It's a shame that FreeDOS can only be compiled with a proprietary compiler as well.
