It's a community of people in moon's life kinda, but has over the years tried to be open for people to join the fediverse with. It's changed over the years -- but it's generally a place where people can be free to be chill, have fun and not take themselves seriously. They also are generally very tolerant people and for a time accepted outsiders like me who are more politically charged when we got censored from other places. Because they value freedom of speech, and are tolerant of other fediverse instances (even when they are abhorrent) they tend to be grouped together with them (ie when blacklisting happens) but mostly they are prematurely judged based on whoever sticks out the most (sometimes me, sometimes the qanon guy
depending on who's doing the judging). It's an incredibly diverse, instance and our LGBT faction probably rivals some of the more left-leaning instances. When we all agree on something it is truly a sight to behold.
