9/11 was a terrorist attack that killed thousands of US citizens. But Iraqi children didn't commit 9/11. Using white phosphorus against kids is a war crime. Intentionally denying kids water is a war crime. Indefinitely locking up "enemy combatants" without charge is a human rights violation.

If you don't want to listen to Palestinian people complain about how cutting off water and bombing civilians in Gaza is group punishment, and a war crime...
Then listen to any of the *millions* of Israeli Jews that are saying *exactly the same thing* right now.
And I recommend reading Israeli news sources, or better, talking to Israeli people. US News framing of this issue is generally trash, and collapses nuance worse than social media.

If you can understand how a US citizen could separate Al Qaeda / ISIS, from Iraqi and Afghani adult civilians, from Iraqi and Afghani children...
And you can understand how a US citizen might say "I want to be safe, but I think what Bush and Cheney are doing is awful, and I will vociferously oppose it..."
Then you can understand how millions of Israelis are horrified by what their government is currently doing.
Or more accurately, our governments (US and Israel).🤷🏿♂️
