also kaizoku works pretty well with it. but i'll need some more scapers for it since a bunch of them are broken in one way or another (also it triggers mangadex' rate limit heccing quickly)

@untsuki@udongein.xyz tachiyomi has a kavita plugin btw, so you can even use tachiyomi with kavita as source.

migrating the mangas isn't hard, you can just drop them into the data directory of kavita. if its all cbz, kavita shouldn't have much issue with it. for mangas in plain image formats or folders, kavita struggles sometimes (which is the hard part on migration)

also idk how tachiyomi stores metadata. kavita can read cbz metadata, not sure of it uses it on import tho.

@puniko I still cannot move from tachiyomi but use it on laptop through waydroid of all things.

I have more than 1000 manga, and kinda scared of trying to migrating

@puniko I don't have downloaded manga, only library metadata which I am not sure if anything can take.

Though, I could slowly migrate manually, and throw out a lot of boring ones, so only problemis thah I don't have server to self host stuff (and I would want to have it as actual server amd not on-device, since I want to use it from several devices if there is such ability)

And you said that Tachiyomi has a kavita plugin?

      Incredible.

I was using Calibre before, but I think it goes without saying that Calibre is Very Not Good for this kind of thing.
