     You're supposed to add keys like this now curl https://whatever.com/whatever.gpg | gpg --dearmor > /usr/share/keyrings/repokey.gpg

     apt-key has been deprecated for a while but it will take a while for them to actually take it out for good knowing Debian maintainers

     It's documented in the man page but tbh it took me some time to generate some actionables out of it.

     Basically just put unarmoured gpg keys into `/etc/apt/keyrings` and then reference the correct key in the `sources.list.d/*.list` for each deb entry.
