     The 'cash-for-clunkers' program was engineered as a direct attack against the White middle-class of the US.
     
     They incentivized boomers to trade-in most all of the affordable transportation for a short-term reward. They even extended the program once it timed-out for maximum effectiveness. Television and radio stations blasted propaganda at the boomers 24/7 to participate in the program.
     
     Those used automobiles were a major component of economic-momentum that allowed the following generation a way to 'get started'.

     cash for clunkers was an engineered destruction of the used car market. They poured concoctions into the oil inlet and revved the engine until they cars died... dont give me shit about recycle reuse. You can buy new cars today with worse gas milage than the classics they destroyed.
