   @soretski They're already doing. The collapse is in now in free fall. USAians think the war is kinetic and in Ukraine. It is, but the real war is diplomatic and economic. All three wars lead by Putin who has almost completed a world alliance against the USA. The world is sick of the USA. This is a repeat of the War of the League of Cambrai (1508-1516) when the global bankers of Venice were defeated and forced to flee to London to start over. This time there is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide

     @Nazareno @soretski at any point the US could declare the Federal Reserve that backs the US dollar null and void (they've done it several times before). Create a new central bank. Allow citizens to change their old currency 1:1 for the new one. And leave all countries with USD foreign reserves holding the bag. They will be debt free, and still have the largest economy in the world. Even without the petro-dollar.

     @Nazareno @soretski the US can reindustrialize in a heartbeat. All the necessary components are there already. China on the other hand will probably struggle to get high tech value-add business off the ground. India can't make anything good. Every other country in the world is too small to even be in the same ballpark.

     Basically my point is no matter what happens, the US will still be the big fish for another 200 years. It took Rome a millennium to collapse.
