     @rolle @miiko I'm not sure what Safe Space means in this context. Also it's impossible to measure the population on fedi - what you got there might be just the people using Mastodon, not the rest of the fediverse.
     
     Ads will eventually show up, but the damage will be limited to the instance that's doing it. Thankfully, nobody did it yet... so far so good.
     
     Another fun aspect of fedi is that it is extendible and I can create any form of service I want and plug it into the network, and it'll work with everything on it - including Mastodon. And that's really neat.
     
     And finally, the most important killer feature: Fedi got blobcats! :ablobcatdundundun:
