     @MaJ1 @bBuck @Rasta Thank you…. We are kicking around some ideas… Our thermostat went out. We had a person come over from our utility today and they & Wa state have some rebate options available…. We will see..
     We want to move but are stuck on where. We like the west coast of US, but is out of our reach financially. Will probably stay here..

     Heat pump technology is very efficient. If you plan to stay where you are, it’s worth taking a hard look.

     @Rasta has a heat pump I believe , maybe have a chat to him about it . They are expensive unless you can get some kind of discount .

     We will probably have to go all electric when the current boiler pops its clogs , its about ½ the age of yours so hopefully not an immediate issue 🤞

     @MaJ1 we are having a visit with someone with our power company today as well. Not like what you’re dealing with. This is just an assessment of possibly going all electric. We use gas to heat now.
     We need to replace the furnace anyway, it’s 25 years old. Thinking about getting a heat pump, but that’s expensive…
