   @phoenix yea i know that much, although there were a few times when it could be considered sperging out, like when i refused to acknowledge webp and other shit, but that's subjective

     @phoenix dushman and his friends do, the reason he and them gave me were if i'm not wrong:
     it's got better size
     better quality or some shit
     
     idk to me it's not worth at all using it over old formats because even image viewing software not giving it thumbnails and it being a GOOGLE format, the vulnerabilities in libwebp make it completely not worth using it
