trans girls, champion crab sidlers. We often will literally go to extreme lengths of absurdity to force others to ask if something is going on, rather than dare actually tell our friends or family that we're trans.

CJ Bellwether (siege@octodon.social)'s status on Friday, 06-Oct-2023 22:44:54 JST CJ Bellwether we're terrible at claiming space and time to tell people. We're always passively waiting FOR a good time. Same goes for booking anything to do with transition, and changing legal documents etc.

When I did, she said "well we did wonder when you were going to tell us..." given I had grown C-cup breasts by that point

I came out to my mother ~20 years ago, and she was completely unsupportive. So when I actually transitioned - whilst living with her at the time - I didn't tell her anything. I figured, she didn't deserve to put me through the effort of doing that a second time.
