   I would not mind paying more for certain things like clothes, if their quality went up proportionally. but for many items even if you pay more, the quality is still shit.

     @kaia When "Sex and the City" was a thing, my wife decided to buy a pair of Manolo Blahnik's for shits and giggles. Never before in my life have I seen a pair of shoes that was so poorly manufactured - nor one that cost so much.

     @kaia At least for men’s clothing there’s a certain threshold above which quality improves significantly. You have to go to higher end men’s clothing stores specifically though. Regular brands and shopping centres are useless.
