     @adiz @moffintosh is there a source for this beside "reich wing watch". anyway mormon church is structured top to bottom to not ever let kids alone with a single adult to prevent this, they probably take it more seriously than any other organized group I've seen.

     @moffintosh@berserker.town I don't even think this is a Democrat vs. Republican thing, it's a Mormon thing. What I mean by that is, being someone who lives in AZ, the Mormons are moving in, man. My entire neighborhood is Mormon. There are Mormon churches all over and a very large Mormon "tabernacle" or whatever about 15 minutes down the road. It's like they're leaving Utah or something. It doesn't really matter what party, Mormons are very organized and nepotistic and in-group motivated and have a lot of money...the Church is going to pull the strings of state and local governments to get what they want, regardless of party.

     @adiz @moffintosh if you're a smaller town probably, they built a temple in Tucson and the city forced them to make it a lot smaller after height complaints.

     @Moon@shitposter.club I have no idea whatsoever about the OP content, I was just commenting from my own experiences that the Mormons are moving into AZ in a big way and they're very organized and will get their way no matter what. @moffintosh@berserker.town
