   I tried Onigiri for the first time today. Definitely wasn't expecting the seaweed to be packaged separately from the rice. I was very confused XD

     @Piss_Ant I love onigiri, absolutely delicious.

     The ones you get in Japan from corner shops have really clever packaging with a layer of plastic on the outside and another between the rice and the seaweed, and if you pull the tab just right the inner layer magically slides out without unwrapping the seaweed.

     It took a few tries to get the knack of it, but that was just fine, I had plenty of chances to practice!

     @Piss_Ant It was a while ago, but I think you pulled from near the point rather than the flat side. Quite slowly and steadily or the seaweed tears.
