     Yes, but sparingly. I believe it's not worse than fast food, and often better. However the best vegan protein, seitan, is sometimes passed off as alternative "meat" when it's actually an ancient Chinese recipe. It's more of an alternative bread recipe, if you could imagine the delicious and fluffy inside of bread being meaty.
