   Is there still no easy to self-host password manager?
   
   All I find is either obviously-not-really-designed-for-self-hosting like bitwarden and passbolt, or hardcore nerd stuff like pass

     @quad works more or less fine for me, the only issue is slow syncthing on the phone usually.

     @hj I used KeePass (not XC tho) + syncthing before, but didn't really work well when i can switch between my pc, phone and tablet pretty rapidly and/or have the file open on both locations

     @hj Only runs whitelisted binaries.
     
     Technically not even allowed to run a web browser that isn't Microsoft Edge.

     I run it in a FreeBSD jail, it's pretty simple so i could help with that but not with compiling it for ARM from another non-ARM box

     @feld I wanted to use rustwarden.
     
     They lack a decent process for how to run it outside docker though. I'd rather not nest containers and compiling rust on ARM really sucks. Their "official" solutions seems to be to extract the binaries from the docker image manually, which is frankly ridiculous
