   @takao What is the superior image format for both quality and file size? I've seen some /g/ autism where they post these single frame webms that are super small

     Properly encoded PNGs are quite small.

     @lelouchebag reminder that it's a frame derived from a video codec VP8 (to a degree) and packed inside a RIFF container. The last part is actually based and I tend to like Duck TrueMotion-derived codecs but it's definitely not suitable for images due to its complexity.
