I'd love it if anyone would make one of those cute, little #Gnome apps for making a slide show with full screen images:
Select a folder or specific image files, then drag and drop them to sort the order to show them in.
This is such a basic thing, if you ever hold a presentation showing pics from a trip or something, you need to make slides like this, but it's so time consuming in LibreOffice b/c you need to create a new page for each pic and then drag the pic to place it perfectly

The only feature needed is what I said. The interface for sorting the pics could be similar to the new tab overview feature in #Gnome (see attached image).
And the result must be exportable as a pdf
Bonus features that would be nice to have, but not necessary:
- Add text, change font, color and placement, and select a semi-transparent background color for the text
- Zoom in on a pic, and move it to choose which part is shown in the slideshow
- Export as odp
- Add notes to each page

This would also be a very useful tool for anyone who follows Seth Godin's rules for good presentations.
Which also means it should not have any support for transitions, obviously.

@forteller i mean... This depends on the genera you are presenting in. No, slides should not be packed with text, but the rest of the points completely depends on what you are trying to do
