   Grmpf outside still looks like summer but inside this old stone house it definitely isn't anymore. But I don't want to start the whole chopping wood & firing up stove routine yet 😭 Time to get out the hot bottles.

     Why is wood heating good but climate change bad? I don't understand the Doomers. Or is it a variant of NIMBY? Everybody else but not me? And if, third, it is a variant of the Sorites paradox – one wheat corn added doesn't make a heap, a second wheat corn added doesn't make a heap... but finally there is a heap – then *all* appeals to personal change of behaviour are misguided. Which means everybody can drive around in heavy e-driven SUVs or in polluting trucks or whatever... (Same Sorites applies to the private planting of chestnut trees as well, btw.) That's really astonishing to watch with the Doomers.
