     Oh, interesting! So pump.io was originally The ActivityPump. TIL!

     This commit failed to replace one place that had a space in it and called it The Activity Pump.

     That's still there:

     @erincandescent @steve yes! I was just talking about the name.

     I'd previously used “ActivityPub" as a name for an AtomPub extension that used Activity Streams Atom as the payload. It was an alternative to the Twitter API clone in GNU Social.

     I had started a W3C community group for it, which was a source of a lot of confusion after the real AP came out.

     @evan Was this a mixed text and audio call? People seem to be referring to things that are not in the transcript but it's clear that they were communicated during the proceedings, mainly Amy's rationale for the AP name.

     @clacke @steve yes, we usually do voice calls, and someone takes minutes on IRC. That's also where back channel happens, so there are a lot of tangents in the minutes.
