     @oct2pus mastodon allows you to add a note to anyone's profile that only youcan privately see, and when they transfer their profile to a new instance it will transfer that note. But if you just blocked them without a note, it will just add that final note to say you had them blocked on that original instance so they are still blocked in their new profile.

     @oct2pus yeah its really useful for remembering why you muted or blocked someone or just remembering things about friends or jokes people made etc.
