     Manga recommendation: Chotto Ippai!

     If you’re in the mood for some easy-to-read slice-of-life, I highly recommend Chotto Ippai! The manga follows the story of Miyahara Momiji, a highschool girl who discovers the world of working adults from different angles while helping out part-time at a local izakaya. Making many friends along the way, we learn about her past as she figures out what she wants to do with her own future.

     There is no deep overarching plot, and what little drama exists as part of the story is usually resolved quickly, always resulting in a heartwarming moment. The art is great and not only is the cast is full of likeable characters, it even has the most adorable drunk you could wish for with Masumin-chan!

     The manga already finished publishing after ten volumes, nine of which have been scanlated so far, and one group is actively working on getting the last volume done as well.

     I initially wanted to write a longer post with more recommendations, but if I wait any longer I might forget entirely…

     @s @hakui Didn’t @wakarimasen use to post manga recommendations? Shuumatsu Touring is superb and doesn’t have an anime counterpart.
