   Quite wish more podcasts would drop the transcript in something like plain-text, or if they have timestamps SRT/LRC files instead of some nasty JS-based thing.

     Or heck WebVTT, this way you could even keep your stuff static both server side and client side and it nicely works both inside and outside the web.

     @takao I'd say it's W3C bullshit on top of SRT but at least that's somewhat portable and will likely keep working for a long while.
