   Yesterday, I got very testy with the weekend reactions to Trump's social media post.

   From the left are coming cries of LOCK HIM UP BRING DOWN THE HAMMER

   These are fascist chants and strongman worship.

   Rule of law is deliberate and follows procedures.

   I see people who should know better chanting LOCK HIM UP.

   Two causes:

   (1) Trump taught everyone to worship and crave a strongman.

   (2) The nature of social media is turning us all into authoritarians.

   Never imitate what is ugly.

     How to get away with high treason

     I am torn.

     On the one hand, my mind is convinced that, yes, this is the way to go. Rule of law. Due process 💯%.

     On the other hand, going down memory lane, my often wiser heart yells: "it's happened all before!"--"#Bedlam" 1)

     This time round, it's not "just" two dozen Members of #Congress but the former, and quite possibly...

     #Impeachment is not a viable option at present.

     #TFG and the #MAGA think tanks have their legions in place. They will substitute all relevant civil servants.

     I feel like a caller in the desert, but the, maybe, biggest traitor in history deserves a just, and the Nation needs a *speedy* trial with the *maximum* sentence possible.

     We all know how it went down for the #Roman Republic, but they even had the #TarpeianRock for cases of high treason.

     It is quite likely essential to pay more heed to history.
