@wdlindsy @inthehands I hear that, and know it too well as a fellow US-ian (I realize the “us” in my reply can be read as my being Canadian). I’ve family who are trans, and we’ve a long road to go before that hate is pulled out at the root!

@jeffbyrnes @inthehands It is, indeed, though there are strong pockets globally and also in my own USA that remain determined to denigrate LGBTQ people and deny them rights, sadly.
