@Zerglingman Gentoo. Apparently, I compiled openssh with sctp useflag which got deprecated and thus is crashing the build process, then it rechecked dependencied due to --keep-going=y and threw said error because of OpenSSL update. -

@mint I did so too, until also got tired of doing manual updates. It's best for desktop with fancy architecture that nobody optimizes for by default. likes this. -

@mint assuming this distro uses portage, just ```emerge -1 @world --nodeps``` and hope for the best
(seriously though, slot conflicts are usually bad use flags or unmasked packages)

@oruga It threw an error regardless of useflags; apparently, they put a special warning in the ebuild that can only be overwritten by setting a custom envvar, which I did, and the build process seems to go fine now. -
