   Drew's take on the AM/PM debacle seems reasonable. It's not ambiguous to me because I learned how to tell the time before primary school due to my autistic fascination of clocks.
   
   You know what is ambiguous? 'Normal' language.

     It's probably just more annoying when it's not in your native/primary language.
