   I've spent/wasted all day on how to make the most of my Quansheng radio. While I was unable to hear the ISS aside from faint voices and noises, I can at least listen to Citizens Band (no TX for now) and AM shortwave (nobody uses it in the UK any more).
   
   I did respond over PMR446 but got no response back. Nobody's monitoring it after all, not Channel 8 anyway.

     @thatbrickster are you allowed to broadcast on citizens band? do you have a license? here it seems quite the ordeal to get certified

     @kaia CB is licence-exempt in the UK, provided the equipment used is also exempt.

     @kaia I cannot broadcast on CB with my current firmware, but a newer firmware allows for a mod that can. For now, I can only listen.
