@noyoushutthefuckupdad yeah, i looked at it and i just see that it's all monkey paw or extra responsibility bullshit that doesn't add up to me, and then i look at the first thing i looked at and thought "that sounds good" and realized that's literally what pretty much everyone's fate is: mediocrity

@lina @noyoushutthefuckupdad it's a very good power but I don't get the association with the card. The fool is walking near a cliff-face with his head in the clouds while a mutated wolf tries to trip him up, with a tsunami of death in the background, and a sun at full power trying to turn the region into a desert, under a nightmarish sky of bright yellow. The fool should have higher than normal bad outcomes because he's oblivious to all these severe natural threats.
On the other hand, the fool is well-dressed, has supplies in a little bag, and he has a big stick. He is the very picture of a JRPG hero just given a wooden sword and orders to kill the demon king. He's also the very picture of all the other 'heroes' given the same meager supplies who lie in unmarked graves on the way to the demon king.

@apropos @noyoushutthefuckupdad the fool is just like that, he's utterly oblivious to everything going on and that's why they go around him, just dumb luck, but it is because he's oblivious, he'll never have anything greater than mediocrity in life
