     @sybirak @alex Krita is just plainly better for drawing ESPECIALLY if you have a graphical tablet...also if you do - stop being a caveman and get a graphical tablet display - xp-pen and gaomon are cheap and decent'ish nowadays.
     And Inkscape is better than illustrator in some ways.

     Gimp is not great. I hardly ever reach for it. For most jobs, Inkscape is the right tool. Or possibly a combination of Inkscape and Krita.

     Inkscape and Krita are better than Adobe because they're interoperable, free, and open source.
     
     They cost no money to use, so everyone in the world can use them. The file format uses open standards so you can share them across operating systems and even across different software.
     
     Importantly, they're good enough to be used by serious designers make money. There's nothing you can't do in it.
